Yost screwed the pooch in this game, bunting Escobar in front of Aoki and on a 2 - 0 count and leaving Aoki in the game to face Bumgarner, not good managing IMO...

Congrats to KC, classy fans, classy club. They are good and young, they will contend for a while.

Giants honestly probably have no chance until 2016.

Thanks to all the great Royals fans here. The Royals are an excellent team and could've easily won. I'm really just lucky my team has Bum and that things bounced our way.

BTW, does anybody have any idea why the grass was causing so many guys to slip? The winning run for the Giants may have never scored if Infante didn't slip on that infield single by Panda. Just shows how close this series was.

Bumgarner is already a legend, like it or not, facts are facts...kudos to him...

Only way Royals get a 3rd run, actually steal bases before the two double plays, pop a HR or actually and would have love it either way, send Gordon all the way...

Royals made to 90 ft in a 7th game of the WS, pretty incredible run. Thanks

None of the 13 guys with 3 wins in one World Series was this young.

They gave the win to Affeldt...still doesn't dim his legendary status

As I said before, KC is classy as hell, young and good. They will contend again next year. Honestly not sure Giants will. We'll win again in 2016 of course

Gordon woulda been out by 15 feet, and an all time goat.

Infante being cute and bare-handing that opening grounder in the 4th cost the Royals the game. he had plenty of time to backhand it, and make an easy throw to 1st fore the opening out.

Anyone got a video of this?

Royals are a DAMNED good team. They should be back in the post season next year, barring a collection of injuries. Speed and defense do not slump.

Giants will be fielding a VERY different team next year. This off-season will be very interesting.

I thought the one who slid into 1st should have been safe. I think he tied the throw. I didn't see what the commentators saw and I'm no expert.

For that triple, I think it would have been too much of a gamble in a situation that would have cost them the game. It was too little of a chance to go for it.

You have to risk the chance against the chance of getting a base hit to bring him in... which is what? 27.5% or so?
