Kam's leaps

I am sure that this was mentioned in one of the game threads or something but did anyone notice that Bennett threw his entire body over the top of the guard and McDaniel (I think it was him) did the same to the center?

It was still very impressive by Kam but I wonder if the league will look at this. I could see them making it illegal to impead the OL players from standing up in this manner.

Jake i have watched the replay of his jumps a handful of times and i do not see anyone throwing their body over the center and think god they didn't as the center is pretty much untouchable now on kick and would have drawn a flag. just sayin

Bennet is on the left. Both times he throws himself over the guard's back to hold him down.
On the first attempt, #99 (McDaniel) does the same to the center. On the 2nd attempt he does not, but it appears that the center fell to the ground.

lucky there was a false start on the first one ( making the play not happen )as doing what McDaniels does is a foul. They don't allow you to line up over the center anymore ( past couple seasons )because he is vulnerable to injury so they made it a rule that you can't hit them when their head is down or line-up over them. I also though wouldn't call a arm his body but that's me.

So let's step away from the center and focus solely on Bennett and the guard. Both times Bennett jumps onto the guard's back to hold him down and thus clears a path for Kam to do the jumps.

Still incredible plays by Kam but I am worried that the refs will penalize them somehow.

NFL radio today was saying that Kam's jumps may have been illegal but the refs missed it. They say in the rule book it says you are not allowed to get a running start to jump over the line. You can jump the line only if you start within 1 and a half yards of it.

Not sure if Kam was back further than 1-1/2 yards but I'm sure if he tries it again the refs will be looking at that.

It's cool and all and if it's going to stop a FG from tying or winning the game towards the end then by ALL means go for it, but as a rule you don't want to leave your feet in the NFL (obviously unavoidable for receivers and secondary) but all he has to do is land funny on someone or come down weird and he's out the rest of the postseason.

It was unnecessary given the situation is all I'm sayin
