It's not that fishy, if you rock the boat you better be good enough to compensate for that. Agree with him or not it will be a distraction, if teams don't think he's good enough to warrant that kind of attention then you get the current situation. Geno could be their QB or they could draft Watson so it's not necessarily a race thing, just not wanting an unnecessary headache.
