And yet, we are keeping Tocci
Have to think since he got his time up here, he will be sent down some way so Scott H gets a look see
And yet, we are keeping Tocci
DeShields just hasn't hit. Not surprising that they would send him down.
True he has not hit and has lacked judgment on a couple of sinking liners. just wonder who gets CF. not thinking it is Tocci. I think they want to let Calhoun get playing time for a bit and not ready for Rua to go down. Think we are going to see some RHP for a few starts in a row too
I guess they figure if Tocci has to be here and we aren't winning much anyway they might as well get him some big league experience while Delino tries to get his hitting straightened out. Until the trade deadline passes anyway.True he has not hit and has lacked judgment on a couple of sinking liners. just wonder who gets CF. not thinking it is Tocci. No choice but to keep him or we lose him completely. They obviously think Tocci can provide them something in 2 or 3 years. And yet, we are keeping Tocci
Odor and Gallo both.He needs a reboot, he's been scuttling for a while,
But why not do the the same with Odor before when he was struggling even worse? Seems hypocritical, the only difference between the 2 is the contract

And he can get batters out. lolStill think he is not going to be regular starter for next 10 days or so. But after last night getting experience may be number one priority even over having best lineup on field
He is my favorite prospect and the most likely in my opinion to become our next Ace. Hopefully between him, Ragans, and Palumbo we can come up with both a #1 and a #2.
I know it is going to be tough to trade Hamels or Beltre, but I would like to see some movement soon on guys like Choo, Diekman, and Kela. I wonder if JD has a surprise move or two up his sleeve as well?
With Sanchez going to the DL I wonder if we could interest the Yankees in Chirinos?
More of a blow to the ego of those sent down than shaking up the dynamics of the clubhouse.
These are not stars being sent down. Think he has bat .065 last 2 months. I get he is more polished than Tocci though.
I think Sanchez was put on the DL partly because of his lack of hustle last night. He gave up a run and cost them a run in a 7-6 loss with his laziness. Plus they like Romine and don't mind Higashioka. With Sanchez going to the DL I wonder if we could interest the Yankees in Chirinos?
In rebuilding we can expect most anything. The fact that Gallo is still not in AAA is a mind blower. Also we have less trade bait everyday. IMO the BP may be our best bet of making any trades at this time. Choo Beltre, Hamels should have already been gone. Odor is a long shot to trade so who is left?
What are the better deals?I think the better deals are done closer to the deadline, which is still a week away.
