So I was watching Pete Carroll's Wednesday presser and he literally tells the whole room he's not allowed to discuss the particulars of the Gordon thing and lo and behold 5 different fucking reporters ask "Hey Pete, what is the deal with Josh Gordon?" and one even asks whether it was marijuana or something else. I'm thinking, how can these asshats be this stupid?

I wish the league would be more transparent about these things so there wouldn't be all this speculation and assumption. If he failed a test, tell us exactly what the fail was and the substance. If he missed a councilling session or didn't show up for the piss test, tell us. I'm not defendibg Gordon here either. I don't really care anymore football wise. Just spill the fucking beans NFL amd quit fueling the drama. This is just an ongoing soap opera at this point.

I agree. Equally stupid but my only beef is the way the league did this. They told the Seahawks Monday everything was a go. The Hawks release a player to get Josh on the roster and the very next day, the league says no. Now the Hawks are down one man on the active roster and scrambling to figure it out and the league can't even tell the fans why. It just doesn't make sense but then again, the NFL brass rarely has any sense.

I can relate. I had a wife who was mentlly ill. Drug use was a symptom. She will never be 100 percent well.

I'm an alcoholic. I haven't had a drink since July 1973. I had quit on New Years Day 1970 and didn't drink until that July night. All I need was one sip and pretty soon I was in the bag. I can't control it so I don't drink alcohol. I can only imagine that drug use is worse.
