Gordon can submit his request whenever he likes. However, he has already reached the 1 year suspension stage for violations and he is 'indefinitely suspended'. The NFL's policy seems to be that 'indefinitely suspended' means at least 1 year. His last violation was Week 15 in 2020 so I don't expect him to be eligible before Week 16 in 2021. If he comes back for the final 3 regular season games this year then good luck to him. There will be a lot of tests before then. Obviously he'll need to be back in football shape and find a team that wants him. I wouldn't bet on him.

It makes no sense. He has screwed up nearly every year that he's been in the league.

Josh Gordon is not even a good player anymore, so even if he is comppetely clean and is reinstated, I doubt he is getting signed by anyone. He just can't be trusted.
