Actually I am wondering why any one cares what Michael Jordan thinks anyways. It's not like he has been a good owner with his team over there on the east coast. He has drafted poorly, traded poorly and is losing enough money that he was partly responsible for blocking a decent CBA being implemented in an effort to make up for his poor decisions of the past. So what if he thinks he could beat Lebron in his prime. Even though he could have, he is old and out of the game already

I honestly would give the edge to LeBron because he is so much bigger and stronger than Jordan was. one on one I would take guys like shaq to beat LeBron. 1 on 1 basketball is a lot different than 5 on 5. size matters so much. I could see LeBron backing Jordan down a lot and getting much better looks than Jordan would get.

I don't think it is irrational to think that the Lakers offense will be better. They have a roster better suit for D'Antoni and they'll have had an entire training camp to practice. They'll most likely be worse defensively with Howard gone, although have some length and athleticism on the perimeter will help with penetration.

Why bring up Artest? You've been calling him garbage for the past couple of seasons. Now amnestying him was a huge loss? Make up your mind. It's funny how haters perceptions of players change whether in the Lakers uniform or not.

Jordan has nothing to prove to anyone as far as basketball goes. never will. I cannot remember any player so dominating the league in the way he did. the list of hall of famers who are ringless from the 90s is long. and it's because of him.
