I can see some of this. Especially when going to the rack and going hard. Early jump shot wasn't all that.

Big time shots?

And Russell is gonna have to do the free throw line dunk for me to start thinking down this path

Competitive wise I would say it is a good comparison. Sorry but there just aren't many true competitors around anymore. Jordan would have fallen on a sword before he went to play with on someone elses team.

It's not just Jordan, Bird and Magic wouldn't do it either. Those 3 guys were more competitive than any of these players could ever dream of being today.

Their issue was Westbrook was an alpha and kd felt the pressure to play the alpha part. It's a role he isn't comfortable playing.
You can use examples of washed up players ring chasing but there has never been another top 5 player go to another team to be the 2,3,4th option.
He ran from the pressure plan and simple.
And I don't need anyone to agree with me. This is a simple fact.

He left.

Stop crying and handing out face palms to people who disagree with your buthurt.

Maybe I'm used to it because everyone leaves my Team.

50% chance that it happens again next Summer.

These guys don't owe you anything.

But, I don't recall you trashing him until he left.

You sound like a jilted woman.

I was never a kd fan. I didn't trash him but you will never find a post of me talking him up.

For everyone that's piling on. You're misreading the situation. I'm not asshurt like some of you are good at. I'm a realist. The Thunder are built to last. No one person is more important than the organization. They are built like the Spurs. No we don't have Pop. I wish we did. But we are built for the long haul. kd ran. It was a hit. But it's not the end of the Thunder. The Thunder are and will continue to be contenders. I know it pisses everyone off but it's just the way it is.

No ill will Mecca. I've been a Clip fan for a long time. Not your fault they have been run the way the have.
I'm the same way with Chris Paul.

I acknowledge that he is a great player.

But, I have never really cared for him.

I had fun watching him in OKC but he can be a little bitch.

Agree.

The name on the front of the Jersey is more important than the one on the back.

Dude, outside of OKC and maybe Cleveland, him joining the Warriors is most harmful to the Clippers.

Shit, fuck the Finals or a Chip.

How in the shit do we even get passed the first round?

But, I understand WHY he left.

He went to a better TEAM.

OKC was a two man show with defensive role players.

Golden State is a TEAM.

The guy clearly isn't a alpha.

But, you have to acknowledge the fact that like Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant....

Westbrook's persona and kamikaze style of play probably chaffed.

Dude is always yelling...lol

DeAndre almost ran for the hills.

I think Blake might be next.

If so, I hope it's to OKC or Miami.

My point exactly. The weak are scared of the strong.

The fact that people actually think KD will possibly be a 3rd or 4th option in Golden State is hilarious to me
That's called idiocy. If you've ever seen the movie idiocracy, you'll see that this is not surprising as a good portion of the population is down this road already.

My Team had a revolving door of names.

No point getting invested in guys that were either gonna be , gone or broken, by Seasons end.
