The only interest most of us have in KC is for that second rounder. For me, I add the interest of Alex Smith starting as long as he can. Therefore, I want them to trade Tyler Bray to us for a 7th rounder. I don't care if it's better for them to keep Bray, because I don't care about them, trade him to us. He has a strong arm, we'd help mature him, he'd have no pressure here, and Harbaugh could coach him up, flip him for 2 second rounders. Hopefully not to KC, though, cause that defeats the purpose slightly. We need to find someone, and this might prove impossible, who is just as helpful as trade partners as KC in the future.

8 wins baby!

i dont think kc is gonna be taking anymore calls from baalke after this

yah jus ne'vah know??!!

if Alex Smith continues what he did LAST season, that's very good QB play. even without the so called "explosiveness", it allows your team to win.....play-offs included.

a year from now Jenkins might be doing much, much better? cause Jenkins will be given every opportunity, maybe more than Baldwin?

I'm reading that Baldwin had 1 drop in 2012.

That might be what you read but it certainly isn't the case, the Chiefs receivers all had the dropsies but he was probably the worse last season.

AJ had very limited snaps, they are bringing him along slowly with the playbook it appears. Reid seems to think that he can do some things with him though.

So Baldwin might make his debut on Thursday. I'm cautiously hopeful. Maybe he just had to learn the plays before he stepped onto the field.

I don't see how he could be as bad as Kyle Williams.

I hope he plays. Moore is garbage. He gives us nothing.

Agreed. So is Williams. But imagine how bad Baldwin must be if he can't even crack the active roster with this horrible group of receivers.

Lets just hope that it's was learning the playbook. Williams is nowhere near a starting wr or even a number 3. Desperate times i guess. :noidea:

If that is the case, it doesn't speak much for his intelligence or motivation. He's been here about 5 or 6 weeks. Trent Richardson was with the Colts for three days and already was playing an integral part in their offense in his first game.

RB and WR are at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of playbook.

RB and WR are at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of playbook.

Plus, it looked like Richardson was doing basic run plays (i.e. run behind the center). Richardson's stats can be attributed to his talent, not knowledge of the playbook. It was Bradshaw that did most of the work.

Also, a WR needs to build trust with the QB. The two need to be in sync. Welker and Manning were not perfectly in sync the first week, but now they look great (Welker had 3 catches for 39 yards that game).

You bet. RBs have to learn a much larger portion of the playbook including blocking and blitz pick up assignments. All in addition to their running plays and pass routes.

That would have been second on the team for the 49ers last week. Get him out there and lets see if he can play or not.

Baldwin is running with the scout team today in practice. I take that as a sign he isn't playing.

I think it might be more about learning the play book not talent.

Dang it...I'd like to see what he can do. Lining Boldin and Baldwin up at WR and running the piss out of the ball off tackle could be much more exciting than what we've been doing.

Look for more pathetic offense against the Rams then.

God Damnit, I am really wondering what Haurbaugh and Roman are seeing on the field that makes them think moore and Williams are good WRs:L
