A very interesting quote from John Fox:
“I do think it’s closer than people think. We inherited a mess … but I felt we were on the brink at the end. I think that [Halas Hall] building is definitely different; they feel it. I do think that it was a positive.”
I think most here would agree we are closer than people think. The interesting part is in bold. That's a pretty strong comment from a guy who's almost always going to remain neutral. Just shows what an absolute dolt Trestman and Emery (or whoever the GM was at that time) were. How in the world do you hire a CFL (AFL or wherever he came from) guy to run an NFL team?
