Agreed. I remember during his junior year I started a thread on the old espn Broncos board asking whether people thought that he would make it as an NFL QB, since I thought then that he could perhaps turn into something akin to what Cam Newton is now. Little did I know that a little over a year later 'lil Josh would trade up in the first round to nab Tebow. Even I knew that was almost certainly a mistake.

Yeah, I never saw Pro potential in him, I live in Gainesville and damn near got in a fight over that comment.

News on Johnny Manziel and I didn't think it warrented another whole thread, but it's still important.

He declared for the draft - which everyone but the most die hard Aggies fans knew would happen.

Scouts have widely projected Manziel as a first-round draft pick, although speculation on where in the first round he will be chosen has varied. Though his improvements as a passer have been undeniable, he remains loathe to get rid of the ball with a throw out of bounds when a play breaks down, as NFL quarterbacks do, instead using his improvisational style to try to turn a bad play into a spectacular one. That tendency is one that his eventual NFL coach will likely try to reign in.

They do have the No. 2 recruiting class (as of now) coming in, but yeah, there isn't much reason too put them in right now.

His awareness of knowing where the pressure is coming from. He will need to completely change how he handles it but it seems like he make great on the fly reads as well. Manziel will probably be a little better than Colt McCoy but nothing spectacular.
