Not quite sure if there is any truth to this... lots of conflicting stories in the media.

That story looks like a joke to me. Just having some fun. Maicco has stated Harbaugh is as good as gone. The story is right about Roman being gone. I like his jab at Kawakami, the National Enquirer of local sports media.

Not yet for any of this really. Nothing will play out until the end of the season but thanks for keeping it light-hearted....we still have two more games to play.

Ownership would be foolish to re-sign the captain of the Titanic. Harbaugh has worn out his welcome in San Francisco.
And you might just be wearing out your welcome on this board unless you have something useful or relevant to post here.

He's a troll, IMHO. I've never ever seen him engage in any serious discussion. He just likes to drop in, say something stupid, and then leave. Pretty harmless, but I can see why he can be annoying to some. I believe he is banned from the Seattle board.

Haven't bothered as of yet. If he keeps trolling team boards, I'm going to have him locked to the Cowboys board.

I think he's as good as gone. I think he goes to Michigan. If he can resurrect that program, he will be like Bear Bryant in Alabama. Sure winning a Super Bowl eluded him, but if he success in Ann Arbor, he can always go back to the NFL. I'm sure seeing his nemesis Pete Carroll and big bro winning one stings, but 48 mil is a great panacea.

I don't think people can fathom what half a hundred million will do for you. He'd be a moron not to take it. "Money can't buy happiness" I've never seen a sad person on a jet ski before.

its been reported by almost every SF beat writer, he is driven by competition, not money. So while I'm not ignoring the money, he won't just go to the highest bidder. If he finds the right competitive situation with an NFL team, he night take $6M/year which isn't chump change either.

before SF he had higher offers on the table, but SF was the right situation.

I think this is true because last time Miami offered more money and he picked us.

Even if he decides to stay in the NFL, the Jets are worst offensively than the Niners. The Raiders are in a tough division and their defense is atrocious. Bears are just plain horrible even though they beat the Niners (thanks to Kap's interceptions). There will be several teams salivating for Harbaugh to be their next coach, but these teams are bottom feeders. At least the Niners had talent when Harbaugh became their head coach.
