I watch this show just about every night. But yesterday was my wife's birthday, so we went out to dinner. I was really getting tired of him. But only $23k going into final jeopardy ? I wonder if he threw it. I'm pretty sure that's much less than he ever finished with before.

It's like 30 grand less. He hit the perfect storm tho. 2 really good competitors(There was only one missed question the whole game) and bad luck. His only Daily Double was his very first pick of the game.

Emma went all-in on one in double jeopardy that gave her a good cushion, and then the other competitor got the other one in rd 2. The DDs have been his biggest weapon, but last nite they worked against him.

I think even Jennings would admit that James is the king.

Tho I will say, given the layout of how it's filmed en sech, what Jennings did is remarkable. I don't know what his home-life was at the time, but that is one helluva long time gone.

I never watched a second.

But, count on a winner take all Super Bowl of Jeopardy.

Maybe a round robin of fairly high winners to fill the 3 slot.

Then a multi million shekel week long event.

I won't watch a second but I bet it will happen.

So, yer saying you don't watch Jeopardy. Cool contribution. But ya, they already do a champions tournament.

No I don't. Sorry to disappoint.

But it's not the champs tourney, it's a duke out between the 2 heavyweights.

I guess for you it's must see TV.

With Alex Trebek soon to retire, Jeopardy is currently running a multi-night primetime Greatest of All Time (GOAT) tournament between the three best-performing champions, Brad Rutter, Ken Jennings, and James Holzhauer.

Ken Jennings won the first match:

First time in awhile that I've watched Jeopardy. It was fun watching them play. You know they're all great, but it still impressive to see them go entire segments without missing any clue. I've got night 2 on the DVR to catch up on
