Nice run by Toronto. One more win and every team will be at or above .500...
Is the AL East still wide open?

At this stage I'd say its still pretty open, though I don't expect it to continue. I don't think they'll be as bad as they were but they won't keep winning like this either.
In an attempt to be a bit more inclusive, I see the White Sox are only 5 games out of 3rd in the A.L Central. And, unlike the Jays, most MLB talking heads are saying they are done for this year, and will soon become sellers. Funny how just 1 game can make this big a difference.
The Angels are in 3rd place in the A.L west, with a losing record.
Same for the Phillies in the N.L East, who, at the same time, are only 8 games out of 1st there.
The N.L Central - Meh. 3 really good teams will fight for first, while 2 will fight for last.
And, last but not least, there is the N.L West, where 4 of the 5 teams in the division are within 3 games of first.

if the Red Sox keep on throwing out Andrew Bailey then yes the red sox will fall
lol
Yeah...gonna have to eat crow bout that. Dirt was right bout him. Sucks balls
Should be a good series this weekend for the O's v Jays. I'm taking the over
Dirt was also the one that said it was the correct move to put Bailey in a one run game even though doubront only had thrown 93 pitches and could have had a cgso. That didn't work either.
The worst part last night was knowing Bailey was going to blow it even before he walked vmart.
At least he was efficient about it.

I fear a closer-by-committee is coming to Boston....
There is no way they re-acquire Papelbon.
Is there?
Why would he want to go back? They had a chance to keep him, and passed. If he has any principles, he would tell them to pound sand. However, $$ has a way of trumping principles, so....?
