This. That is what, at least, I was alluding to. Even if he couldn't stop, I understand that part. But, he clearly was going high and aiming for the head. It's not like McCoy threw it and ducked...JH went in high with every intent of doing what he did. Making a hard hit. He hasn't learned through his numerous fines, and I think the next step is a suspension. You simply can't go launching yourself at anyone's head that could be a "vulnerable" player (WR after catch, QB at all in the head).

His history is what will get him suspended. If that was the first time then it would (and should) be just a fine. I'd say that he had clearly released it. Harrison could've pulled up. Instead he went head hunting. The play moved pretty fast but that part of it was not bang bang. It was a blatant cheap shot.

less accidents happen when you lead with the shoulder and keep your head lower, this shit is life or death, they are modern day gladiators and he needs to know what the hell he's doing before he paralyzes somebody; however, you might be right in general (yes accidents happen, maybe he won't be suspended)

When you don't change your style of play, you are doing it intentionally knowing you are going high. That's intent right there. Prove otherwise.

If he didn't want to do it, he wouldn't. It's a simple as that. It's not like he just found out about these rules.


Husker fan...Suh's dirty, too. Get over it. The NFL is loaded with guys who will play like this. Given the chance, I think most people would take SUH on their team in a heartbeat (money not withstanding). That still doesn't mean what Suh did or Harrison did last night doesn't deserve a suspension. They both have repeated patterns of these kinds of issues. That is a fact. If it weren't, then they wouldn't be having these issues, now would they?

You might be able to defend every flag/fine/hit he's ever made, but that is because you are delusional. He's got guys all over the NFL getting on him for his tactics, he knew he was doing things wrong and that is why he requested a meeting with RG himself rather than wait for the call from the commish. Too bad he didn't learn anything, or maybe he wouldn't be suspended right now.
