...a group of WR single-handedly lose a game before. amazing. we need to revamp this unit like we did with the secondary last offseason.

since we draft late in round 1 (30th?), we might get a quality WR? obviously, he won't be a "Blackmon", but someone who might become an NFL #1.

if not there and we go elsewhere, a round 2 or maybe even round 3 "slot" or "3rd" will help. it won't solve the problem by itself, but it'll be a big help for Alex Smith.

i think he'll be franchised or get a big contract, but if the bills blow it i'd love to see us get steve johnson. he's underrated imo.

Stevie Johnson is on my wishlist too. I think he grew up in the Bay Area, so the 49ers might be near the top on his FA wishlist. The scary thing is that Stevie draws a lot of those 15 yard celebration penalties, so he's not really matured as a professional yet.. but I think the coaching staff can help him mature.

if we could get a bowe or stevie johnson in FA that'd be awesome. Back that up with drafting sanu or jeffreys...we'd be set. bring back morgan, williams the WR, and ginn the KR. trade crabtree for whatever we can get in draft pick(s).

What about letting Ginn walk, and replace him with Desean Jackson?

Good deep threat, decent hands, and maybe even slightly better return guy than Ginn.

Desean Jackson's stock may be low right now as well.

Don't forget some key drops he had as well, his hands don't scream star WR. I want a bigger WR like a V Jax or Veteran who knows how to win like Wayne. At this point I say Wayne > Crabtree. They had similar stats this season but I think Alex is better than Painter.

Bowe will be a chief. They will tag him. What about Colston

of course the chiefs have brandon Carr as a FA as well. But I think they keep Bowe over Carr if it comes down to that.

I want Desean Jackson, Bowe, or Stevie J. I'd be ecstatic with either one.
