Wins?

22 starters account for that, not 1.
Wins are a QB stat

But i put it last for a reason

Ultimately i don't know if Ridder is a long term viableb starter

He's been mediocre so far

But he's been much better than Fields as well . Thats just the reality without interjecting opinion into it

I don't think so. If they went out and upgraded the OL I think it would solve most of his problems.
You know they upgraded the line this offseason, right?

A Top Ten pick on a tackle.

Upgraded their receivers by trading what would’ve been the 1st and 33rd pick.

I know people like to make excuses for Fields. But at some point he needs to look like a guy who can pass in this league. And he hasn’t.

It's still a bad OL. And he is a rookie.

They spent money on Nate Davis that WAS a good before he got there. Maybe the line issue is not totally the line players, but a shitty qb.

You are only saying that because he can't diagnose a defense or throw accurately.

That's it? Now that he understands the problems, he should probably get to work on fixing them, no?

I fully expect one of first round picks to be a QB in next draft.

Would love to see Fields turn it around but ball don’t lie.

Things are starting look like this upcoming class could be one of the best in recent memory for QBs.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see 5 or 6 rookies starting week one next year.

I don't feel the Bears have done a particularly good job building the offense to suit his skill set. That said...he's at most a 5 year starter because his athleticism is the only reason he's a starter.

But it's kind of criminal how the offense is designed around him.

I'd grab Greg Roman and have him put something together more suited to what the Bears have in Fields.

Since this is pretty much Part 2 of this discussion.....

You definitely don't pull the plug unless a team like the Jets gives you an offer you can't refuse. The entire discussion with the Bears having the #1 pick in the first place was that the roster was gutted and whoever was QB was going to have some issues this season. If Fields is a decent QB he'll find a way to get the Bears 3rd place in division. Beef up the defense. If he is a bad QB, the Bears will be in a spot to replace him.

Honestly reminds me a bit of what the Chiefs have in Kadarius Toney. Some crazy good flashes but clearly not a reliable football player.

More than half their sacks this year are on Fields not the OL

He's holding the ball too long wire often and he's sissy not getting rid of the ball on 3 step drops on time when his OL is chop blocking the get the DL hands down

If you're play design is 1,2,3 out and your QB is holding the ball tip 5 he's going to get hit

saw this tweet from sharpe earlier and backs up what you are saying

He has completed 61% of his passes this season so far.....with a bad OL, Some of those were passes he had to throw away because the OL didn't give him time to throw to a open receiver. And this is the 1st season with a true #1 WR in DJ Moore.
They throw a lot screens that go nowhere. His completion % is deceiving.

when you have a super athletic qb obviously the best way to open up the defense is short screens lol.

Fields has all kinds of issues himself obviously but its a terrible marriage right now.

DJ is one of those people who, when they get drunk, they simply look at stats and decide they know better.
