If we are really going by "best culinary scene" I gotta think Savannah, Georgia; and Charleston, South Carolina have to be up there right?

Those are huge, for sure. The farms down there have blown that up. Wine country is pretty amazing, too. NYC, SF, Boston, New Orleans. All of them have amazing culinary scenes.

For it's size, Cleveland has a pretty hearty scene, and I'm not talking about sandwiches.

I'm looking for some underdogs. New York, Boston, New Orleans, Chicago, etc. those are easy picks.

Yeah, there's your everyday cheesesteaks where Steak-Umms will suffice.
Those are a dime a dozen.

Also have to consider the roll (hard vs soft, baked vs cold) and the type of cheese you prefer.
Steak-umms will suffice:L

Subs and cheesesteak sandwiches? Get the fuck out of here with this "best food culture in the nation" bullshit. You're all fat and you eat greasy food. Doesn't make it the best.

Just out of curiosity why did you completely ignore the fact that for many years the nations top 2 restaurants were both in Philly? Hundreds of cities and #1 and #2 were in Philly.

Yeah, that's my mistake.
I expected a lucid, rational response.....

Seriously, I don't have a "link" that proves that Philly has more asshat fans that do more diabolical shit than any other fan base. It's my opinion based on news reports of actual events that I've read, and my interaction with folks on sites like this one. Clearly, I'm not the only one. There's an issue there, you should accept it and move on.

That all said, I don't hate Philly or its inhabitants nearly as much as I've been putting forth today. I'm just fucking with you. I do think there's an issue with their fans, and I think the idea that it's the top culinary scene in America is retarded, but I'm sure I'll be back there at some point and I'll probably enjoy myself.

I'm curious, what restaurants and who ranked them top 2?

I'm not ignoring any facts. I'm ignoring your claim, which is fucking nonsense.

It's another misconception that if you want to have a Philly cheesesteak, you need to go to either Geno's or Pat's. Just my opinion, but that's like eating Steak-Umms. It's nostalgic and all, but you can find better.
