Subs and cheesesteak sandwiches? Get the fuck out of here with this "best food culture in the nation" bullshit. You're all fat and you eat greasy food. Doesn't make it the best.
Did you not see the part about the soft pretzels!

AND they have basements converted into restaurants. Amazing. Never seen that before.

Cheesesteak cuisine has progressed to the point where you can get ribeye cheesesteaks.

WOW! It must have taken one of those culinary geniuses from Philly to realize that better ingredients make a better product!

God you are thick. Your attempted insults don't even make sense. Philly Schools? My narrative is there are more asshole Eagles fans than any other team. It hasn't changed, I'm not moving any goal posts and even a bunch of your fellow Eagle fans are man enough to admit it. Give it up, you look like an idiot trying to fight this

Triggered.
Thanks for the facepalm, though.
I'm really broken up about it, but if you feel all good inside, then I guess it was for good use....

How old are you?
Cities like Boston and I'm sure NYC in their little mom and pop retaraunts have been using ribeye for generations.

Stick with the historical part of being a great city. You're losing this culinary battle. Oh please tell us about your pretzels again.

Clearly your insecurity has poured out over the last 4 pages like the sludge through your arteries from all those cheese steaks...go back and read it. Were you born without balls or lose them in an accident?

Yeah, there's your everyday cheesesteaks where Steak-Umms will suffice.
Those are a dime a dozen.

Also have to consider the roll (hard vs soft, baked vs cold) and the type of cheese you prefer.

For realz. Might be gay, but I'm admittedly a "foodie." I get the Food & Wine, Gourmet, Saveur magazines. They're not talking about Philly.

Not sure where you are seeing insecurity, but feel free to hate all you want.

If we are really going by "best culinary scene" I gotta think Savannah, Georgia; and Charleston, South Carolina have to be up there right?

Charleston pretty good, my neice at the College of Charleston

Doesnt strike me and "Best" though

Vegas a cultural Mecca. Brilliant just brilliant. The best and 2nd best restaurants in the entire nation but you skip that and bring up cheese steaks. NYC has a great food culture too because of the diversity. Vegas a cultural Mecca... Jesus christ
If you don't think Vegas has some of the finest restaraunts in those hotels there is not much I can do for you. Every well known chef now has at least one restaraunt in Vegas.

Look like I said I love a mom and pop back alley restaraunt just like the next guy.

I can pull 1000s of reviews and awards that will counter your TWO restaraunts as best and second best.

Go back to eating chicken nuggets and corn dogs along with your cheese steaks.

I lean towards Provolone and soft rolls....Easier to chew....
