Eh.... happens all the time. Companies will check out people's social media accounts prior to hiring (and sometimes during) and there's nothing illegal about this to my knowledge. Might be against a school or social media policy and you may get banned/fired/expelled etc. because of that, but you're not going to end up in jail.

I think the bigger story here, is Kingsbury was likely trying to get nudes so he could whack off to the photos of his players.

Tracking your player's social media activity is commonplace in college athletics. However, posing as cute girls and (I'm assuming) sending flirty messages to these guys to see how they respond? That's a tad creepy, IMO.
