Betts' situation is different. Thomas claimed he was anti-government. Betts is clearly anti Trump becuse he's bought into the nonsense that Trump is a racist.
Thomas and Betts should have left politics out of it and gone and accepted their laurels. Each made it about himself and not about the team.
