When Baylor and company knock off the legal shenanigans, look for Missouri to be the 14th team in the SEC. the SEC will look east for 15 and 16. Virginia Tech is still a major player, as is NC State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia.

I think this opens up the Big 10 to poach off the ACC. There is already talk here in B10 country of Marylang, Virginia and even making a run at North Carolina/Duke. I myself see the B10 going after some NE teams like Syracuse/Pitt/Rutgers and then taking a few ACC teams. Of course all this will probably cause ND to need to find a home as well. If I ahd my choice itd be Syracuse, UNC, Duke and ND. That would be good for football, basketball and most importantly academically fit.

I guess I always thought that Missouri would end up in the B1G but maybe not.

I think once the B10 added Nebraska they are going to set their sights east more and this whole thing is playing out as such that it gives them the ability to do that. I personally think that if the Big East was smart theyd be trying to add the likes of Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State etc now while they can get them since you know that their will be some poaching off that league if they dont secure a strong foothold.

I disagree I believe it will be someone that the SEC can put in the East to go to 14. This is important, that team needs to be able to join next year. (That's when A-n-M wants to join). That's is why the only viable options for next year in my opinion is Louisville or WVU. Kentucky will certainly block Louisville which would leave me to believe the choice will be WVU. Just my opinion though.

However this is all a moot point if Baylor continues to be the whiny little bitch and sue.

None of this is finalized, but it is really leaning in that direction. I still would not be shocked to hear VT as #14 but it is looking more like the ACC may be shoring itself up and possibly expanding.

Thanks TAZ, it's a pleasure to be here. Really wish our schools would play. Who knows, maybe they will get the chance in the coming years.

Baylor is just looking out for their best interests. The TV contract Fox has with the B12 is contingent on the B12 having at least 10 teams and if and when A@M leaves that is a 1 billion dollar deal that will hit the skids. The reality is that Baylor has no chance of winning a lawsuit but it gives them a shot at recouping more money from A@M which the Bears will need since theya re likely to be one of the teams left out in the cold ( hello MWC, CUSA etc)

If the ACC is going to do it then they need to do it fast. There is no shot that teams like Maryland, Virginia, VT etc wouldnt leave if they were approached by the B10 or SEC so the ACC needs to make some pre-emptive moves too.

I understand what they are doing Rmilia, but no matter what they do, A-n-M will still join the SEC. Maybe it is like Schad said on ESPN, they are just trying to get everyone else in the Big 12 to stick together and keep the conference a float.
It just really seems like they are prolonging the inevitable.

Watch what Virginia Tech does. They would not stay with a sinking ship when they are being courted. If they stay, I would not expect Maryland or GT to go. All of the UVA, UNC, or Duke talk is insanity as none of those teams are even factors. If VT heads to the SEC, it means they are pretty sure that big moves are coming and Maryland and GT are likely B1G bound.
