Apparently Chuck has a 75M loan due after next season & has been in talks to sell the team to the Raine Group. I hope this happens. Onwer/Owners who give a damn would be GREAT!!

I actually expect Bruce Ratner too be involved in some way. He brokered the deal with Wang on the 25 year least at the Barclays Center. The Raine Group advised Ratner on the Atlantic Yards project.

All I care about as a fan is who the new owner hires to run the team. I know Snow has been handcuffed by Wang, but changes need to be made. When the dust settles on this I hope Pat LaFontaine is involved with the team in some way.

Direc TV has their own channel & they showed a Documentary about how the Barclays Center got built from a group of people who had their building torn down. I felt very bad for these people. I'm sure they didn't get anywhere near what the value of their apartments were. Ratner got his arena though. They tried to stop it, but they had no chance.

Apparently Wang wants something like 300M. Of course he's including the practice facility, the Marriott that he owns in L.I. amongst other things.

Im assuming that the team is playing in brooklyn next season or is it after? so he doesnt own a building for revenue from that however he will throw in a money losing practice facility and a hotel lol for $300M

The Isles cable contract is also part of the price. I think this is legit. I don't expect anyone to pay the full price. Wang doesn't want to pay that 75M due after next year.
