I really think Seattle needs to change their offense to get the best out of Wilson. Put him under center & run a play-action two back style of offense that still focuses on the run but has QB rollouts, sprints & bootlegs. That should give the WRs more separation & Wilson more rhythm to move inside & outside the pocket.

In the first half the Seahawks started their first 4 or 5 drives with a 10 or 15 yard penalty. You just can't do that and expect to succeed.

I think a LOT of teams have figured out his scrambling. They are doing a much better job containing him in the pocket and while it was awesome that little drop back spin move out to the right just doesn't work anymore. I saw that in preseason, think it was against the Chargers. A rookie safety/corner didn't bite on that spin move TWICE and resulted in 1 sack and 1 intentional grounding. Wilson isn't dangerous on the run anymore... and that's why I hate scrambling QBs. I dunno if I would classify Wilson as a scrambling QB, but as announcers/analysts have said for the last 3 years, he 'makes plays with his legs.'

:noidea:

Teams always eventually figure out the read option QB's. Wilson is good at throwing on the run, but other than that, he is pretty average.

This sucks that both Wilson and Luck are sucking. Looking more and more like good QB play is slowly starting to die again. We've been spoiled by some great ones.

You realize he said "Over 24 points" not just 24 points. So we are talking 25 or more points in a game. He hasn't won a shoot out where the defense is just not playing well and they need him to step up and be the man that carries the team.

Well I do now... lol

It happens. That has been one of the biggest criticisms brought up against Wilson in he just hasn't won those games where the defense needed the offense to step up. Given he hasn't had a ton of opportunities with how great the defense has been but again just like last night they needed him to make some big plays and while he made a few it just wasn't enough. Without those turnovers man that would have been an embarrassing home loss (believe me I know how that feels after my team's performance yesterday). I actually do like Russell Wilson. Like all QB's though he does have limitations. I think we are seeing those a bit more this year as they have put more on his shoulders with Lynch injured and the defense not being all-world.

He just seems like a very average QB this year. In years past he always had an "it" factor to him. Now he seems lost.
Wilson looked good when Seattle's defense was dominating teams. Now that their defense has become average he is exposed as an average QB.

Sherman has looked bad with Kam back there. Wilson has regressed. No way to argue he hasn't. When teams keep him contained, he is not even average. Maybe they could get him a chair so he could see over the line?

I hope they trade Kam.
It was a mistake for Seattle to give Wilson such a huge contract.

It's easy to be a prisoner of the moment when it comes to football.
