The only bright spot about today’s game is this proves without a shadow of a doubt that it’s not Russ.
i,m a commanders fan and there was clearly holding on that play that went uncalled.Wilson on the 2 yard line and can't get the conversion to tie the game ....yea, blame that on the defense.
Honestly, most teams have first rounds that look kinda like that after you get to 2017. I do remember thinking when they got both Chubb and PS2 that I knew they were good players but I was glad that the Broncos didnt fix their QB position. Jeudy...honestly...is probably about on par with what pick 15 usually gets you.Massive front office gaffe, and Wilson will be the scapegoat.
NFL teams giving up 56 points in 3 quarters has never been heard of before. The roster is awful, the OL is awful. And obviously the defense is a complete joke.
Here is the Donkeys last 10 1st round draft picks.

And they gave away Chubb.

That 2015/2016 combo is pretty brutal, though. 2019 was a bad first round for most teams. The combination of picking Chubb at 5 and then getting rid of him is nuts. Using Fant as a trade piece for Wilson actually wasn't that bad, though.
I do think both Denver and Wilson overestimated how talented Denver was when they made the trade.
Denver gave up 70 and I still wouldn’t count on the Bears beating them at home next week.
Only thing for the Broncos than right now is if they get the number 1 pick and choose Caleb Williams. Most overrated quarterback in football teams up with the most overrated coach in football, 70 points happen.
Caleb right now.

It says a lot when a team is 0-3 and gives up 70 points and yet opens up the next game favored by 3.Denver gave up 70 and I still wouldn’t count on the Bears beating them at home next week.

Agreed. Its just that this was a team that was 8th in the league last year in yards allowed and 12th in points allowed. We just saw them give up 70 points on defense in a game and Miami beat Surtain with a guy from the practice squad. I think its more than fair to suggest that Denver has a leadership problem.Their OL and DL are weak. Middle to average at best.
RB isn't good either.
WRs are decent, but not a game-breaker over the top kind of guy. Face it, Jeudy is a bust. Mims is likely the guy they need to feed more.
Their specialty dudes are built to grind, but the OL isn't built to grind.
I wonder if he wakes up in a cold sweat thinking about that decision.Allegedly Russ turned down a trade to Philly in order to go to Denver.
I think by the 3rd quarter, they just plain were giving up. That definitely smells of bad leadership. The last 4 Miami TDs looked like they were playing a college scout team. It was very similar to the Rams game Christmas day when they let Mayfield and a beat up Rams team put up 51.Agreed. In a weird way I think we saw how effective Miami's system was, too. When the Chiefs put it into 2nd gear against Chicago and Gabbert came in the day was pretty much over for the Chiefs. Miami kept going. The defense simply gave up in the 3rd quarter yesterday. Not that they were putting up a fight before that. I do think the Sutton fumbles were low key back breakers. The offenses needed to keep moving the ball. IMO, the 2nd one was absolutely crushing.
