Raptors keep Gray for two more years


Reported first by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Toronto Raptors brought back Aaron Gray for the next two seasons. It is a two-year deal worth a little bit more than $5 million and the Raptors used the Room Mid-Level exception on Gray. He averaged 3.9 points and 5.7 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game in 49 games and 40 starts.

I think the issue is that Quincy is an undersized PF. This means it would be unlikely that he would ever play the 5 spot, unless if we go with a REALLY small lineup. And since Amir and Burger aren't really pure centers either, Salesman brought back Greasy Gray to back up Poonus.

Gray was a pleasant surprise last season. I think he deserved to come back. Its also a very cheap contract for a servicable 7 footer
