Who can blame these guys? I guess most are just more tolerant about it than Lynch. I think the media pissed him off years ago and he made the decision to hold a grudge ever since. So be it. What are we really missing? I watched a "reporter" ask Bill Belichick today what his favorite stuffed animal is? Bill should have said "I'm just here so I don't get fined". It would have been appropriate.


Its also sort of funny/ironic that some of the same people who've been saying that deflating footballs is so overblown, that it never affected the game, etc are the same ones who get pissed at Lynch for not speaking to the media. I said I'd be much more likely to pile onto Sherman than Lynch if on another team because I don't care for some of what he says now as a Hawk so obviously I'd be far more annoyed if he wasn't. I just don't see where Lynch's stuff matters much and would still likely feel that way if he was somewhere else. I just wouldn't be bothered by it. I pick on the loud mouths a lot more than the quietly defiant ones.

I know a lot of "smart" guys making 30-150k a year and know some "wise guys's that have never read a book and some didn't graduate high school making 10 fold. Lynch is making plenty of millions, so he is more talented than most

Fans feel the need to defend the flag. That's what I see here and I get that. But no need to go overboard imo. Every team has players that may or may not be gifted mentally but are gifted athletically.

This is not new to the Seahawks, Marshawn or the NFL. Classic example from the Redskins, Dexter Manley. He was always running his mouth, sometimes it was funny but mostly it drove me crazy.

You don't have to be brilliant to play football, but it would be a bonus if a player could be classy as well.
