And what does the Pacers and Nuggets past success have to do with Miami's current roster? And you say you're not a closet Heat fan...

He's actually a diehard Pacers fan. You're really fucking w/ the wrong person. @trojanfan12 was the only other true Pacers fan on this site. You just messed that up though. Way to go!

So if I were to choose the Lakers and Celtics as my two favorite teams as opposed to the Pacers and Nuggets, does that somehow make me more of a fan?

Hey fuck you! Never root for the Celtics. And Laker fans would also tell you to fuck off. So fuck off on behalf of both fan bases.

Congrats @HurricaneDij39 on beating the Timberwolves in October without Jimmy Butler on the floor. This will go right up there with the 2013 home court advantage throughout the EC playoffs banner that Indiana still brags about to this day.

Phoenix Suns Slogan - "Defense? What's defense?" They should put it on their new Nike t-shirts... I'd buy one!

Well we won 49 games in 2013, so the only home court advantage we had those playoffs was in the first round. And no, I haven't seen a single Pacers fan on any forum brag about HCA...

And Minnesota didn't have Jimmy Butler...As if I wasn't already aware. Cry me a river. Wiggins should have stepped up in his absense, and he didn't. We didn't have Myles Turner. Neither team was at their best, but we were able to come away with a road win and I'll take it.

Agree with you here. Considering Minny still had KAT and Wiggins, this is a game they should still win even without Butler. Good win

Well clearly you've been blinded by all the ridiculous Laker homers (looking at you, Shaqdaddy)...

At least i'm realistic about my teams chances. You're the one who thinks the pacers are actually a playoff team.

No one said he/she did, numbnuts. Point was, had I bet you a full month, @Shaqdaddy11 would have been off the hook for a portion of the other bet I made.

Not really, you could've done the month for my bet. Then you could've done hers if you had lost. If I win and she loses or vice versa, they don't conflict. If you win both, they don't conflict.

Critical thinking isn't for everyone.

Correction on my part, it was 2014. The whole time that season the Pacers focused on getting HCA so they got Miami for a 7th game on their floor. It was hilarious beating the Pacers in 6.

I must say based on everything I've seen in the first week of the season plus Indy playing in the East, Cane is looking good for his bet with Shaq Daddy so far

What the fuck does how many titles the Lakers and Celtics have won have to do with the Heat having won 3 titles in 11 years while the Pacers and Nuggets have 0 combined?
Oh hey, I remembered the answer to my question.

Like "All Roads lead to Rome" ... all NBA lead to Lakers/Celtics fans talking about their Championships.
