That's not yards geniusOne more thing, when yards start winning and losing games, then we can start judging defenses by the amount of yards they give up.

Brady has had a top 10 defense in points per game 8 times, not 10. (2012, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2004, 2003, 2001) and Manning has had a top 10 defense 6 times (2002, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012) and a top 5 defense 3 times (2012, 2007, and 2005).The years the Pats won the Super Bowl, their defense was ranked in points 6th, 1st, and 2nd....During Brady's career the Pats were top5 in defense 5 times, and top 10 ten times.
No it is a rating based on every play based on situation and opponent. Takes into account a lot more than just points. Only a simpleton would simply look at points allowed to determine how good a defense is. Would you say giving up 17 points to the Broncos is the same as giving up 17 points to the Jaguars this year? Would you say giving up a touchdown in garbage time to make the score 45-24 is the same as giving up a TD to make the score 24-17?Certainly isn't points.....
My numbers aren't fibbed at all, why would you include 2011 for the Colts and 2008 for the Patriots when neither Brady nor Manning even played that season? Your numbers aren't even correct, where were the Patriots ranked 6th? When were the Colts ranked 28th?since this Pats fan likes to fib on his numbers.......
brady's defenses: 6,17,1,2,17,2,4,8,5,8,15,9,6 = average of 7.9
manning's defenses: 29,17,15,31,7,20,19,2,23,1,7,8,23,28,21,4 = average 16
bold = super bowl winner

So what if they don't play defense, clearly neither one benefited from that defense. I understand that on average, Brady has had a better defense than Manning. No doubt about it. But the fact still is that in 8 seasons of Brady having a top 10 defense he won 3 Super Bowls and lost another. Manning, on the other hand, had 6 seasons of a top 10 defense and won one AFC championship, going one and done in every other year.I included those years' because they Manning and Brady don't play defense. Even if you take them away, it doesn't skew the numbers that much.
Here...look for yourself.

Let's take a look at Brady's playoff record when he has a top 10 defense:
2001: 3-0
2003: 3-0
2004: 3-0
2006: 2-1
2007: 2-1
2009: 0-1
2010: 0-1
2012: 1-1
Total: 14-5 (73.7%)
And now Manning's:
2002: 0-1
2005: 0-1
2007: 0-1
2008: 0-1
2009: 2-1
2012: 0-1
Total: 2-6 (25%)
Manning fans can keep claiming that he would have won more Super Bowls if he had the defense that Brady had...
Manning, I'm well aware of that. He leads by a whopping 1 point in four fewer games. I'm not under any misinformed opinion that Manning is horrible in the playoffs. While I'm not the biggest fan of passer rating, it has its merits. By no means do I think Manning's 2010 game against the Jets, when he threw for just 225 yards was the 5th best playoff game of his career, as passer rating would suggest however.Who has the better QB rating in the postseason?
Anyone claiming Brady is head and shoulders above Manning in the playoffs is delusional. Just like anyone claiming Manning is head and shoulders above Brady in the regular season is delusional. Just like anyone who claims Manning would win 5 Super Bowls if he was drafted by the Patriots is delusional.Who has the better QB rating in the postseason?

Playoffs are all about moments and passer rating doesn't demonstrate that. Does Brady's passer rating look good for the 2001 AFC Divisional game against Oakland? Yet it ignores the fact that Brady ran for a TD and threw for over 300 yards in a blizzard. Does it look good in the 2003 AFC Divisional and Championship? No but it ignores the fact that both games were played in freezing cold temperatures and in a blizzard (one in which Manning threw 4 interceptions)
Just trying to spread the knowledge, if you didn't read it that's fine.6 freaking paragraphs when you could've answered the question with one simple word.

Good job ignoring his points, CnI. I would if I were you, too.
Excuses? You obviously didn't read it. That's okay though, I'm sure reading is quite the strain on you6 paragraphs trying to make excuses as to why Brady plays worse in the postseason is the epitome of inferiority complex. haha!!
