Lets see which teams are in the top 5 in rushing offense.

2013 NFL Team Rushing Stats - National Football League - ESPN

#2 Seattle
#5 San Fran

There isn't a NFCN team in the top 10 even. You don't run the ball that well without a great OL. Combine the #2 and #5 OL and well.....you got a great OL. You can talk until your blue in the face, teams stat show that the West has great OLs and head to head games have shown which division is better. The West is 4-0 against the North. LOL at thinking combining the division would change that.

Using total rushing yards is as short sighted as using total passing yards to say Phillip Rivers is a top 4 QB. If you look at the QUALITY of run plays, rather than VOLUME, the Vikings (4th in NFL), Packers (5th), and Bears (8th) all have better YPC averages than the best NFC West team. The NFC West runs the ball more often. That doesn't mean they are better at it.

So when I combine the #2 and #3 pass blocking offensive lines in the NFL, wouldn't that make a great OL also?

Quit making sense if the point you're making isn't advantageous for the West slappies.

Nice

Imagine Eli throwing to Cruz, Dez, and Desean with Witten at TE and McCoy in the backfield.

I figured he would be throwing to a lot of corner backs and safeties like normal.

Ranked where? The "experts" rank the 49ers as the team with the best OL. If you add to any weak spots on their OL, you win. We may not have the best skill players on offense but our defense is complete. It's really not that close. You would not be able to run against our defense. Not even AP. He needs at least SOME space. He wouldn't have that. Your QB needs time to find an open receiver. He wouldn't have much. Your receivers need space but they'd be mirrored by the best corners in football not named Taylor or Revis.

It's not even a worthy debate. The NFCW is by far the best division. Accept it and be glad it's an, individual, team sport.

Then why are the Niners ranked 29th in sack %. The Hawks are ranked 30th, btw. The Rams are 14th and Zona is 19th. Detroit and Chicago are 2 & 3. So these are the killer OLs that are going to keep Wilson upright ? Lol. and while you're shutting down AP, you're going to single up Megatron, Marshall, Jeffery & Nelson ? Yeah, I'm sure Rodgers wouldn't find someone open. I don't care how good you think your back 4 is, that's just not going to happen. Again, no question NFCW is better top to bottom and 53 on 53 over the course of the season I'd take the NFCW. But suit up 22 on 22 (plus STs & a couple of reserves) and it would make for a hell of a match-up.

They run the ball, because they are good at it. NFCNorth teams pass a lot, because they are good at that. I don't think anybody going to change anyone opinions so lets just agree to disagree.

No -- a joke would be the NFCW corp of WRs. When you have to include Crabtree (coming off an achilles injury) and Percy Harvin (who hasn't even taken a snap for Seattle) -- THAT is what you call a joke.

This is under the assumption that everyone is healthy. If you want to play that game then take Aaron Rodgers away from the North team.

NFC West vs AFC West is what it would come down to.

Funny how you didn't address the rest of my post, where I used facts and
unbiased rankings to show you that the NFC North has better pass blocking and
run blocking offensive lines than the NFC West. You, on the other hand, resort
to useless rhetoric.

NFC North has 2 of the top 3 pass blocking lines in
the NFL. Does the NFC West have 2 of the top 3 pass rushing lines in the NFL?
Didn't think so.

Because I don't look at stats. Facts and unbiased rankings huh? LMAO
Funny you still haven't found an O-line for your NFC North yet.. You just throw out BS stats.

Does the NFC North play in the NFC West? No they don't and if they did they would not have such a good O-line % and be "ranked" so high would they. Try using some common sense here.

See the level of competition each team plays is different.

The NFC West schedule is brutal. I can't help you if you are a stat geek. If you really think Chicago and Minnesota have the best O-line because of a flipping % BASED on their opponents, then you have not a clue!

When you have 3 team out of 4 in the playoffs, then you might understand. You cannot based everything on stats. LOL NFC West has 4 solid defenses. So of course stats are going to be biased.

Stat geeks... You all are funny.

The Saints have a great QB and plenty of weapons on offense.

Why O why did they get beatdown by the Seawags and the Rams?

Funny how a solid D can take out a great offense with some pressure HUH??

*light bulb* :omg:

Look at the standings.
Seattle 12-2 Chicago 8-6
San Fran 10-4 Detroit 7-6
Arizona 9-5 Green Bay 7-6
St Louis 6-8 Minnesota 4-6

Head to head games the West won all of them and it wasn't close.

Yet NFC North posters want to argue that they have a better division or more talent over all?

Finally a somewhat non-homer steps up instead of twisting stats around. It would be a hell of a match-up. One that I would love to see.

Gee Wally you beat our ass head to head. Come to think about it, you've beat everyone's ass. Literally.

I would love to see the Rams play the Lions or Bears or Packers.. Wait a minute, we whipped the Bears 42-21! And we're in last place!

Oh wait a minute.... Please show me those "Best in the NFC" stats 1 more time!!!

This is how weak your division is Wally... You don't have any great pass rushers anymore and if these 2 teams played in the NFC West they wouldn't have such a good % would they? HAHA

The Rams beat the Bears ass! We got plenty of pressure on McCown. But at least the Bears have that top 5 O-line %!!

Laughing hard

In case the head to head isn't enough. Nfc west point differential is plus 339 and Nfc North has a point differential of minus 32

Actually nobody has said that... quite the opposite in fact. Are you lost ? Have you even read any of the posts in this thread ?

Yes WE are lost. LMAO

Please indulge us with more Bullshit. Please explain to us how a last place team in the Rams physically beat the shit out of the 1st place team in the NFC North and South.

Manhandled!

So let me get this straight. Your saying this whole argument about "If every team in your division merged, who would win it?" Has been about nothing? You've been agreeing with NFC West posters all along:lol:
