Indeed. The NFC west played a physical style of play this year that I haven't seen since the Ravens and steelers were slapping each other in the face years ago.
So many flags this year in those games. So in Your face physical. It was gladiator-like.
I was thinking about this earlier today. The NFC west has become much like the AFC north was 2-3 years ago. The Ravens and Steelers were dominant D's with Cinci up and coming and Cleveland wasn't really that bad on that side of the ball with Rob Ryan as their DC. I remember them handling the Patriots pretty well.
Now the NFC west boasts what I consider 3 of the top 5 D's in football and the Rams are probably close too. Probably 6th at worst when healthy. Gonna be a tough task for the Seahawks to get back here next year but they are young enough and deep enough to give it a good run.
