Obviously some guys are going to have to go. Some will depend on how they make the contract though and how much of a discount Cousins would give the Broncos.

What about my belief that the Vikings are in play for Kirk Cousins' services?

Rick Spielman said they will investigate "all options" at QB. Denver would have a hard time competing with Vikings who have a ready made Super Bowl team.

From what I have gathered their new OC John DeFilippo asked during his interview how serious they were about pursuing Cousins. They kind of said it would be up to him a bit of what he thought. DeFilippo said he didn't want Cousins as he QB. He would rather have Keenum or Bridgewater back with the Vikings. So I guess at this point it would depend on whether the Vikings want to listen to him or not. They could choose to ignore him since he does have Head Coaching aspirations and could be gone after a year.

Yeah, that's kinda where I'm going with it. I think they would be very stiff competition and I continue to hear from national pundits that the Vikings are in play. Was trying to get perspective from cd on it, since he seems convinced that the Broncos are the front runners.

Huh, I hadn't heard that. Could just be a smokescreen?

This time of year it very much could be. Just reporting what I've been told. I just know the Broncos already tried to trade for him in the last few weeks and if Cousins had trusted the Redskins not to screw him over something might have gotten done. He has no faith in that organization to do right by him and he shouldn't.

Throw in Gary Sanchez and you have 3 players with a combined 144 home runs last year.
Yankee Stadium makes Coors Field look like right-centerfield at old Forbes Field.

But why does no one lolYankee Stadium?!

Playing in Coors field is like hitting from 2nd base in a home run derby contest with your friends down at the old baseball diamond.

Actually by statistics it was the 8th easiest park to hit home runs in last year. The big advantage is batting average with the big gaps in the outfield.

No thanks. I'd rather draft a QB at #5 and build the team around him, than pay McCarron 15-20m per year. I continue to think that the Broncos should just go all in on a young gun (again!) and commit 100%. The rest of the draft can be used to finally build some depth (hopefully).
