The Celtics have a great chance to beat the Cavs in the playoffs next year, but the Cavs probably won’t be in the playoffs. I’m thinking Lebron goes to philly.
If we goes to Philly the Sixers are going to be more stacked than the Heat were when he was in Miami.

lol at making a thread celebrating "making it to the NBA Finals."

Basically, this thread is a concession that Cleveland ain't winning the NBA title.

Who said they were winning the title? That's obviously the other team that's been tossing them around.

LOL at people assuming the Cavs will beat the C's.....just like they assumed the 76ers would beat the C's.

There's a main difference between the two teams....the 76ers don't have LeBron.

Does it really surprise anyone that Cleveland is much better in the playoffs? Lebron takes it easy in the regular season and still dominates. The regular season is a joke. Teams that bust their asses in the regular season are spent in the playoffs. That’s how you explain feaux contenders, like Toronto this year. Being 100% is more important than home court.

But winning two road series is insane. It couldn't be done in the 00s outside of those two years the magic and celtics did it.

LeBron has played a lot of minutes during the regular season but he elevates his game to a higher level in the playoffs.

And the Cavs don't have Stevens.

On paper, the Sixers are the more talented teams.....coaching matters.

And the Celtics have Stevens.

When was the last time coaching won the NBA championship? This is a superstar(and super team) league.

Mostly because the best teams were the 1 seed. This year, the best teams aren’t the 1 seed.

NBA has a ref in prison right now for gambling issues. Refs in the NBA more than any other league has the most power. You can literally dictate how a game goes.

I disagree. Any team of refs can directly effect the outcome of any game if they so chose.

Football might actually be the easiest sport to do that.

Horford< Embid

Rozier = Reddick

Tatum/Brown> Simmons/Saric ( we call him Dario Syrup )

Boston Bench> Philly Bench

Boston Coaching> Philly Coaching

Embid is the one advantage Philly has, thats it.

Next year gap will grow, so that is why LBJ will come

I've said for a long time..... there are way too many fucking games in the regular season, the more games they play, the less important each one is..... all you have to do is worry about making the playoffs..... same with baseball. too many fucking games.

I agree with baseball, but half the teams don’t get in for baseball and the best team doesn’t always win in the playoffs. In basketball, if your a team like GS or Cleveland, you don’t need to try to make the playoffs in order to make it. You can screw around and sit your best players when they are tired.

I wouldn't say the 06 spurs/pistons, 05 heat/suns, 07 pistons were the best teams. From 04-07 the top teams went down to the second best teams every year, except for the mavs going down to GSW in 07 which left the 2nd best suns going down to 3rd best spurs. What I'm saying is it was hard for a team to beat the top two or so seeds back to back. Had the grizzlies not took down San Antonio in 2011, the mavs probably don't get by the lakers.
