and 'Bama/UO face off in the NC, and KSU/ND face off in the Fiesta Bowl. Is there a scenario where the winner of the KSU/ND game is crowned the NC?

Or is there any scenario (say the NC is Bama/ND or Bama/KSU) that a winner of the nonNC BCS game is crowned the NC?

The BCS NC won't include a SEC team if that happened. The fact that one of those teams has to be left out is bad enough, everyone feels this(a broad statement, but I think it's true), you couldn't justify a one loss team (even from the all mighty SEC in that game).

You may get your wish in the Rose Bowl. If Oregon loses to USC we still control destiny to RB. Even if we don't lose if KSU and ND finish undefeated they will probably get the shot.

Just be careful what you wish for. I'd like a little Nebraska pay back after that 2001 BCS debacle.
