They were better 3 rd options. Anyone with NBA acumen would agree with the majority of this list.

Bosh was a fantastic 3rd option.

His numbers weren’t always great because he played along two extremely ball dominant players, but he gave the Heat exactly what they needed.

He could play 4 or 5 and provided needed floor spacing along with the ability to create buckets when needed. He was a plus defender too.

The problem in Miami was that as great as Wade and LeBron were, their games did not compliment each other very well and they ended up taking turns a lot while Bosh got the scraps. And despite that, the Heat won 2 titles in 4 years with Bosh as #3.

If they had played their entire careers together, him many rings you thing they would have?

4?
5?
6?

Would have been more than 2, that is all I know for sure.

That playoff team wasn't very good. He is equivalent to what Love was in Minny in he did a few things better, and a few things worse. Love probably fit better with Lebron tho because of his nearly 40% 3 pt shooting

Love never made the playoffs and had similar supporting casts.

Also, Bosh could defend a lot better.

Love in West, Bosh in East

Love had 1 season with more than 32 wins.

The West wasn’t THAT much better.

And why do you Cleveland aholes have to bring Kevin Love into every single discussion?

He isn’t good enough to be discussed nearly as much as he is on here.

I think LebronLaker was the first to mention him in this thread, and Bosh only had 3 seasons with more than 33 wins. Only 1 with a winning record. In the East.

3 seasons with at least as many wins as Love’s best.

And I will say again. The West wasn’t that much better between 2006 and 2014.

He was the #1 player on a playoff team? Can Ginobili make that claim? Few on your list can.

Ginobili chose not to be the man, he was more interested in rings. Did you see his performance against the Pistons in the finals? He was the best player on the Spurs. Can Bosh claim the same? No way.

I think he's a star...not elite.

Then again you said 28-year-old wade was washed up so can't really take you seriously.

I already admitted them Wade take was hyperbole. Try to keep up.

Here are Kevin Love’s win totals in Minny:

24
15
17
26

Then, in ‘12 ‘13 they got a little bit of talent and won 31 games. Love only played 18 games that season.
The following year they won 40, which was his only decent season in terms of winning.

So really, Love only had 1 season with more than 26 wins in Minny.

Are you saying Bosh was not more interested in rings than being the man?

Because he could have been the man on at least 20 teams, maybe more.

Yet he chose to be the 3rd wheel so he could win.

I agree that Bosh was a good third option but the point is he was overrated as being this 3 rd superstar on the Heat when he was an above average player who got a couple of championships off riding Lebron’s coattails. That’s why I never really considered the Heat a superteam like the Warriors, Bulls, Lakers or Celts.

No, I was talking about Ginobili not wanting to be the man.

You can keep saying it, but you'll be wrong each time.

From 2006-07 to 2013-14, the 8th seed in the East was only above .500 once (35-31 in strike year) in East. West #8 never .500 or below. worst was was 42-40. Below are the comparisons each year with East team on left from 06-07 to 13-14

40-42 42-40 only year close other than strike, but top 5 in W ranged from 50-67 wins, 43-53 in E
37-45 50-32
39-43 48-34
41-41 50-32
37-45 46-36
35-31 36-30
38-44 45-37
38-44 49-33

Because Bosh played with that Lebron fellow. But he did lead his team to the playoffs as the clear #1. How many on your list can say the same?

OK, and Bosh only had 2 winnins seasons in the far weaker East

33, 33, 27 (strike), 47, 41, 33, 40
