Laguna D, if you're in my neck of the woods check out Stefano's in Yorba Linda. Mom and pop place, their honey baked hams will put Honey Baked Hams to shame and their food is top notch.
Pricy but it's stellar.

They do family meals weekly, and since Mrs. Puck is working on her Masters and in school 1-9pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights, after work I am beat plus I have all the kids stag those two nights so I have ordered from here one night a week a few times.

Family style shells with ricotta and other goodies, lasagna, home style macaroni, etc. Comes with a salad and a side, feeds about 6 and runs about $25. Not bad.

We went to Umi inside the Pechanga Casino in February for date night, first time for me being in Pechanga and our first time at Umi. Good food, little pricy but the wine was the best.

Went on date night this past weekend and went to Taps in Brea, I had a delicious beef tenderloin and Szechwan shrimp over linguini.

Now I'm hungry again.

Ms. Puck brought home a pastrami on sourdough for me last night after she got out of school from The Habit. It was like 10:15pm.

I mowed that thing down, I couldn't eat it fast enough. They opened one up here in Anaheim Hills about 5 miles from my house a few years ago, we tried it out last year and love it.

Nice - I don't head out to LA much apart from Kings games but next time I'm there I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip.

Last time I was on Alvarado Street was the Kings Cup parade in June 2012, we went to the parade and then took the kids there and ate and checked out the vendors and cultural activities, I just don't head out that way much.

Looks freaking great though.

Sometimes going back to "your roots" is the best. Once in a while I take my Dad to breakfast at the dinner near his house (where I grew up) some of the waitresses have been their for years so it's always nice to go.

We get the BOGO coupons in the mail around our birthdays, and we have plenty of them - Feb (me), April (Ms. Little Puck II), June (Ms. Puck), October 10 and 30 (Ms. Little Puck I and Pucky Jr. I) and then Dec (Pucky Jr. II - Dec 31, the whole world parties for this guy) and we use them from time to time.

We were going to go last night, but went to Denny's instead since it was by an Ashley Furniture (we need a new bedroom set - don't go here, overpriced and everything looks cheap) and we hadn't eaten out for breakfast for dinner in a long time.
