If Tommy does indeed start this weekend, and he runs the Offense well, I'm probably going to start drinking that there kool-aid along with you folks.....

I just have to see it to believe it first.

I remember when I went along with anointing Cody Green as the next coming of Christ before he ever stepped foot on the field...........then he stepped foot on the field and, well......ye all know what happened after that

I don't see how ye come to that conclusion. I didn't say Taylor was a world beater.....jest said when used the right way he is as effective as a college QB can be.

When Taylor is used as a system QB he thrives. When Beck forgets that Taylor is simply an athlete and starts trying to attack NFL style down field, that is when he is absolutely turrible.

The folks who are all over Tommy like stank on shit are the ones drinking the koolaid.

No offense meant sir, just messin around.

Cody Green was the athlete ---just couldn't handle the west coast deal is all-- and he was as dumb as a fence post in a wheat field ta boot

Cody green fooled all of us
He's a Logan Thomas

He can't run pro style
Can't run spread... Looking terrible at Tulsa

The thing about green was he peaked at high school and really is a Logan Thomas
He's athletic but too slow in a zone read has a rocket arm but no accuracy

I was big on Cody green and he failed to be that qb college wise

I really felt like Nebraska ruined Cody Green.

That kid was a deer in headlights every time he took the field and he still is to this day at Tulsa. The development of that QB was so ridiculously awful it wasn't even funny. Hell the kid took steps backwards from when he was in High School.

He was psychologically ruined from the get-go and now the poor guy is still having nightmares

Oh yeah that bc watts and bo were on different pages and wanted different things

Remember brion carnes? He looked ok then fell off the mAp

Another reason why top qb don't like to come here development isn't gonna happen here
Think if tmart never went to Calhoun in LA how raw he would look compare to how he is now
Another reason why we need a new staff

Recruits do their homework they listen and hear and watch

But in the end the proof is on the field location has some of the blame but people want to go where championship are being won or the chance to play/go pro

Cody Green is just another example of a guy who looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane.

I get the argument that we put him in tough situations, but if the roles were reversed, I honestly think Taylor would have thrived. Taylor is a PLAYMAKER. Cody Green is an average game manager. He managed the game well vs. Colorado and was subsequently benched. That is exactly the reason why he transfered. He would never say it outright, but he has hinted at it and I don't blame him for transferring, but he just didn't have "it".

I am 100% sure TA SHOULD have been given a chance in the second half against UCLA. Another bad game time decision by Pelini. Urban Meyer would have played TA!

If Tommy takes this team to new heights, Bo will look like a superior coach. Just like he did after Tito broke on the scene...

I feel like I am the only one who didn't grab ahold of Tommy's nutsack after the SDSU game.

That Defense that he went up against that day pales in comparison to any Defensive unit that he faces in practice during the week......and that is sayin somethin cuz our Defense sucks.

All I'm sayin is, I got absolutely nothing out of that game. Taylor has experience coming from behind in big games and right now he is the more effective passer. He may not be the better passer technique-wise, but there is a reason he was #1 in the country the last 2 seasons when Beck kept the passing game within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.

I liked the playcalling a lot better in that SDSU game......I think a healthy Taylor would have thrived in that setting.

Tommy looks promising mechanically, but I don't understand the nuthugging.

LOL !!!

I'll grab hold of Tommy's and RGIII's nutsacks. How damn lucky are we to have these guys backing up Taylor?

They've played really, really well. With the obvious SDSU disclaimer.

Is SDSU's defense really worse than ours? Are they?

I'm waiting till after Sat to grab hold of that nutsack dangling there, just teasing me to swing on it
