Is SDSU's defense really worse than ours? Are they?

I'm waiting till after Sat to grab hold of that nutsack dangling there, just teasing me to swing on it

We'll find out soon there CT. I'm guessing no ones defense is worse so far. I keep seeing they're just tackles away and mental mistakes away from being respectable. How is it that 100 plus schools can do it better with sorrier recruits?

Don't give me a fire arm. Because it would rust and shit.

I think back to when the rolls were reversed and I haven't decided which is worse

If Tommy takes this team to new heights, Bo will look like a superior coach. Just like he did after Tito broke on the scene...

Maybe so, but my main point is that when you have an injured QB that is obviously a liability instead of an asset, he should be benched until he gets healthy. Urban Meyer would do this, and numerous other coaches around the country would also. If Pelini would open his eyes and watch how the great ones operate, he may one day be considered a great coach also!!!

I wonder what JJM's thoughts are now?

My thoughts are, Tommy looks great. I'm really excited about it.

If Beck would simplify the gameplan like this while Taylor is in there, I think a healthy Taylor Martinez may bust off some 70 yard runs.

Has Tommy Armstrong turned the ball over? I don't think so. Even when Tommy was getting swarmed he did not fumble.

Can the same be said about Taylor Martinez? Mr. 1+ fumbles per game.

Hey, like I said.....I'm where you guys are on this. I wish Tommy would start the rest of the year. This game today has me drinking the Tommy kool-aid. I'm on board now.

I guarantee you we will suffer some major disappointment somewhere along the road with Tommy starting........it's just bound to happen when you put all of your eggs into one young basket like that.

However, we are also going to suffer major disappointment somewhere along the road with Taylor starting. So yes, I am prepared to let Tommy take over. I just know that the coaching staff is a lot more well-grounded than are we fans who post anonymously on a random message board and they will do what any coach would do, which is start your veteran 4 year starter.

For once I got to watch a husker football game and not see a qb throw and INT or fumble
Defense had to respect everything we had to offer

Rest Taylor till the Michigan game let TA play the next two games

Then I guess the big decision comes during Michigan week who you start.

Trust me, it won't be Bo's stubbornness that puts Taylor back on the field......

It will be because they are coaches......not fans. It's what a good coach would do. Unfortunately our xbox 360 mentalities are usually in the wrong.

Bluechips are never bluechips until they are developed into bluechips. Tommy isn't the mistake-proof QB that all of us think he is. With development, however, I believe he can be great.

I agree

But with tommy you can say hey his young with Taylor what the excuse?

We have the weapons!outside of osu I think we have the most weapons on offense

TA will have a bad game sooner or later but I've already come to that conclusion but the best thing you can do is give him plenty of game time experience to prepare or get him ready for the tough test or game.

Plus now we know that if tmart can't get it done at Michigan we have options
