And yes Rose the player should be in the Hall somewhere, sometime. After he's dead feels right to me...devastating punishment to deter future offenders, but the historical record eventually recognizing him and his 4000+ hits.

I've always said that Rose should be inducted into the HOF as soon as possible *after he dies*. He agreed to a life-time ban - right after he's dead seems the perfect time to induct him. Now THAT would send a message.

Maybe they should put him in the Basement of Fame, or the Garage of Fame. Just not the Hall of Fame.
