A lot of them migrated over to HN when Hammer and Shaggy got into it in the summer of 2020.
The NFL forum is more active here though.
True, on the NBA threads but I think it was just a driveby by the mods......LOL.Comments would disappear all time on FN.
@SlinkyRedfoot is still slinking around as well

That's something to be proud of I guess?Hey, I drop in from time to time. Remember when I kicked your ass on the "Most irritating poster" poll on FanNation?
I remember my kids teaching me how to type swear words on the boards..fun times.Yeah, I remember those ESPN days - pretty active from around 2000-2004 on the Bengals board especially while in college and killing time...eventually migrated over here when ESPN shut it down.
Those were some lawless times...like the old west of message boards. There just weren't any rules and regulations back in those days...LOL

Thought you were on HN FT.Fuck it, I won something.
Thought you were on HN FT.
Did not know you were still here......LOL.
I use to love the old ESPN forums. Nothing like watching the games and following the threads during the game. SportsHoopla use to have a big college gameday audience. I didn't spent much time in the NFL forums back in the early to mid 2000's as the Lions were exceptionally bad back then (although that has been the case most seasons as a Detroit fan the past 20 years)
The funny thing about that post was the game was a blackout due to a fight between the Big Ten network and cable companies in the Detroit area. I was watching the gamecast on ESPN the whole time.I seem to recall "Great win by Michigan to open the season".
I'm the same way with pro vs college basketball. I just get bored fast watching 2 teams full of people who can't really play the game all that well. The pros are the best of the best at these sports. It's interesting how much more of a NFL fan I am now than I use to be in comparison to college football. I get too bored for 75% of the games with Michigan now. I watch every game, but there are only a few games that are actually entertaining each year (although this year looks like it could have A LOT of great games...wish Michigan would have had this schedule last year). Even the other teams I watch usually only have 3 or less great games to watch each season.
The Lions games are almost always fun to watch, even when they weren't winning much. Stafford always seemed to keep the games close, even though the Lions usually came up on the short end of the stick.
