OU’s OOC schedule past decade and going forward:
Ohio State 2x
Tennessee 2x
Notre Dame 2x
Miami 2x
Florida State 2x
Washington 2x
Houston (ranked at the time)
BYU (ranked at the time)

On the docket so far:
Home and Homes
UCLA
Michigan
Army
Tennessee
Nebraska
LSU series fell through I think

Who knows how some those programs will look down the line. Several have new coaches at the start of their tenure.

Have always said that this isn't about the past because A&M had atrocious scheduling in the past. This is about currently and the future.

Oklahoma's OOC Scheduling:

2019 - Houston, South Dakota (FCS), UCLA
2020 - Missouri State (FCS), Tennessee, Army
2021 - Tulane, Nebraska
2022 - UTEP, Nebraska

That's not that good. Houston is a decent program, Army took them to the limit yesterday and you never know where Nebraska will be 3-4 years from now. But that OOC schedule looks bad right now man. Tennessee and Nebraska MIGHT improve but they are just shit programs right now. A&M has scheduled Clemson, Miami twice and Notre Dame twice, all of which are top teams in the country.

To play devil's advocate, A&Ms 2020 and 2021 OOC schedule doesn't look as good as their 2019 and 2023 but I guess not every OOC schedule can be tough.

Whatever you say bro. Just continue to get your ass handed to you in your own thread. It’s pretty damn funny.

I don't see how I'm getting my ass handed to me. It's an opinion based discussion. Differing opinions and everyone else here can be respectable but you. So maybe your time would be better spent talking about Army taking y'all to OT yesterday or something.

I'm talking about this year and the future. Their division schedule is already tough as it is with Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Mississippi State. They play Georgia next year so next year, they play Clemson AND Georgia and possibly Alabama as well. The top 3 teams in the country right now. Feel bad for them but also respect them for their current and future scheduling and not taking Alabama way out by only scheduling lowly P5 or FCS teams.

Alabama's OOC schedule for the next few years:

2019 - Duke, Southern Miss, New Mexico State
2020 - Georgia State, Kent State, USC
2021 - Mercer, Miami, Southern MIss
2022 - Texas, Utah State
2023 - Texas, Central Michigan, Western Kentucky

Not to mention, they've only scheduled Georgia once in the next 7 years, which is 2020.

I see what you mean by lowly P5, USC, Miami and Texas(X2)...LOL, Duke might be the best of the 4.

Remind me again who UCF has on their schedule to make up for playing a shitty AAC schedule....

Right, and that is why some SEC people get all bent out of shape when their OOC schedule is questioned. I mean look, they have to play South Carolina, Vanderbilt, ole Miss, Kentucky, Mizzou, A&M!!!

I don't know if you should be putting any of those teams down...they're all better than Army.

I'll cut you some slack, because clearly as a UCF fan, this college football thing is new to you. But how many times does A&M have Georgia on their schedule...I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is going to look exactly like Alabama.

As for the possibility that we are going to play A&M next year, pretty sure that's at 100% as well. Funny how these fixed division schedules work.

The only thing that isn't set in stone for the SEC schedule is what day and time we play.

We aren't a P5 team. Don't see how that is a factor into this discussion. But since you asked...

In 2015 we scheduled Stanford and they were a top 5 team
In 2016 we scheduled Michigan when they were actually good
This year, we had UNC and we scheduled them when they were decent but now they are a shitshow
In 2019 we have Stanford again at home this time

This whole conversation has been about P5 teams, so bringing UCF into the conversation doesn't really make any sense to me. But I know you're trying to deflect because of all the FCS teams you guys schedule. It's okay, we can't all have perfect schedules. Unfortunately, most of the best teams in the conference are at the mercy of the shit parts of their conference.

I don't know if I have seen a poster stick his foot in his mouth as many times in the same thread as the OP here.

Then how am I supposed to pretend that you somehow have a claim on the National Championship.

BTW, the point was that the same teams you are praising AtM for scheduling are the same teams we are scheduling. They have Miami and Notre Dame on their future schedule, we have Miami and Notre Dame on our future schedule. They played Clemson this year. We have played Clemson five times in the last decade. They are playing a home and home with Colorado, we are playing a home and home with Texas.

We have an FCS team on our schedule every year...surprise, surprise, so does A&M. Unlike A&M though, we've never played two in the same season.

The biggest difference I see between the two is A&M has to play Alabama every year. While I agree that does put them and a significant disadvantage every year, I am not sure what we are supposed to do about it.

TBH, they did Oregon a favor. Having watched that melt down last night there's no way Oregon was ready to face a team with a pulse in OOC.

:L

You still aren't smart enough to realize that it was a recruiting tool to get better prospects into the program? Come on now man.

From what I'm seeing, you guys play Miami once in the next 5 years, no games against Notre Dame, two games against Texas and a game against USC and Duke. Not including the national title games, Alabama and Clemson played in 2008 and before that was 1975. 4 times since 1975 and 3 of those times were in the CFP, not a regular season game.

You should be thanking them. Otherwise y'all would have choked away two games.

This year's OOC slate for Georgia leaves a lot to be desired, but from 2019 on, we're gonna be played at least 2 P5 OOC games every season for the foreseeable future.(there's a 3 game series with Clemson where the dates aren't official, but I'm making educated guesses on them)

2019: Notre Dame, GT
2020: Virginia, GT
2021: CLemson. GT
2022: Oregon, GT
2023: Clemson, GT
2024: Clemson, GT
2025: UCLA, GT
2026: UCLA, GT

And there's a a home and home with Texas in the works, but it isn't official yet.

That's good shit, well done Georgia.

It's easy to throw jabs when you literally have to take up half a page listing your favorite teams.

Not sure that makes any sense to the discussion we are having right now.
