Make no mistake about it, I want Bo to succeed. Despite the posts I've made about Bo needing to go. As of right now, he needs to go. If he can't make changes and we have to continue to put up with this fucking bullshit, then he needs to go.

9 wins over the little guys is neat.......4 blowout losses to the big guys is not.

If Bo swallows his pride and makes the changes necessary to be successful this season, then I am all for him being here. I love Bo as a person, just hate what he is doing as a coach.

In my opinion he doesn't need to change much on both sides of the ball to have a pretty damn good fucking team. It's his ego that's holding his own "process" back.

I'm rooting for him......but he's as good as gone if he doesn't fucking change. Just wanted to clear up my view on the current situation.

I want him to succeed as well, but he hasn't, he needs to make crucial changes, but will he? I like Bo as a person, at the end of the day he's not getting it done. If he gets his shit together and we make the CCG without 50pt blowouts, he might earn a pass, if not and we get fucked up over and over for the 3rd year in a row then...

I just don't think it matters right now - we're stuck with him, he will refuse to change anything, and we will continue to be a joke. Boosters and game day attendance will be the factors that result in any change, not us, not media, not blowout losses.

Best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. For that reason I don't think things will change but I would be happy to be proven so very wrong. I think its likely to be a long season for us.

*hoping Bo is suddenly a wizard*

I absolutely believe that the smallest changes on both sides of the ball would lead to a Championship team.

The lack of adjustments over both long periods of time and short periods of time is what has led this team to this place that it's currently at.

All Bo has to do is make some small changes! The fucking idiot is just being a stubborn ass. He could have a Conference Championship if he was only willing to do what the experts say he needs to do.

What if nobody showed up next week??

I think we see allot of empty seats next week, that might get the AD's attention if he didn't already notice the exodus of people leaving before the 4th qtr on Sat

Face it we did Bo a favor in making him a millionaire and he hasn't paid us back the favor of solid team performances week in and out. JJM if you want to waffle on your position that is your right, but I had my fill of sub-basement-underneath the actual basement of below-par showings his teams give us as fans. Bo should have gotten Stoops when Arizona fired him. But hiring Stoops would have showed a weakness in Bo and his supposed defensive genius. All Bo ever wanted was someone to scream at on the sidelines when his defensive gameplay went bad. Bo is Bo's own worst enemy. He will concede nothing and blame players for his poor coaching decisions.

What changes can he make mid-season?

Change in scheme.

On Defense we have the athletes to slow Offenses down. It's the style of Defense that we are playing that isn't working. Bo thinks he can get away without blitzing. Having Suh fucked with his mind. He thinks he has 15 guys out there and he only has 11.

Bo could get everyone back on his side by making SIMPLE changes schematically.

I'm not waffling on anything. I supported Callahan until he was done, I will support Bo until he is done.

It doesn't matter who succeeds as our Head Coach, he is our Head Coach......and I am wayyyyy too big of a fan to sit here and act like I'm going to root for the players but not the coach. That is just ridiculous.

Yeah. Changes should have been made in the off-season. Last year Ohio St and Wisconsin were what facilitated a desperate need for meaningful change. Bo knew that and opted not to. He opted to stick with his process and his people.

Bye Bo. Go be mediocre in the Sunbelt Conference.

The time for that was Jan 2nd thru August 30th. When coordinators were available to consider a move. When he had time to send some of his lackeys to a successful program to learn what they were doing. When he had Spring Ball and Fall Practice to implement the changes.

He knew that and opted to keep doing what he knows.

Anything short of a Big 10 Championship and he's finished. The only friends he has left are called "employees". ;)

I would want to see Bo fire or demote Poop, hire a real DC and let them do whatever they want and stay the fuck out of it. Sit Tito's sorry ass down and let someone who isn't injured play QB, no one on the defense is out there on one leg, at that point we can see if Becks play calling can get right or else he can punch his card out the door as well.

I'm thinking Bo focuses on the D so much that they rest of the team suffers, ex. leadership, heart, S&C, overall vagina pants for the entire team

If he doesn't make changes right now, his ass is grass, we may very well end up at or below .500

Beck honestly is a serious problem.

I'm no genius, but that play calling on Saturday was just as bad some of the others that he called in 2011-2012 when we got our asses handed to us.

I never said anything about not rooting for the players or team, but I can't support a coach who says his team looked like they saw a ghost on the sidelines. First and foremost the mental toughness of this team falls on Pelini and his coaching crew. I'd bet the players saw fear in the coaches eyes first, and I was told Bo looked beaten in the post game press room. Players often reflect what they are taught. Bo doesn't have a clue what to do now to bring this ship around. Hell, the ship is grounded. The best thing Bo could do is bench Tito and play TA or RK or both. Nothing motivates a player to perform more then bench time. If Tito is actually hurt and had played hurt this season, then shame on Bo and Beck.

Beck is very limited in what he can do with Taylor and I give him a break for that this year.

Taylor doesn't have the mind to be a big time CFB QB.
Taylor is not the running QB people make him out to be. He's a sprinter and that is all. He needs a 6 ft wide running lane to get any yardage.
He's very limited in the throws he can effectively make. He's limited to 0-15 yds between the hash marks. He doesn't even have the touch to make a screen pass work.

Bo is the one that is do or die Taylor.

I'd like to see the talent NU has in the skill positions with an experienced Armstrong involved.

It took elephant balls for T.O. to start Tommie Frazier midway through the 1992 season.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not having an affair with Beck whatsoever, but the one constant variable in his tenure is Taylor at QB, when TM is injured and can't run we all know he's no Payton Manning, that's when Becks up against a wall, can't call a zone read, can't really call a pass play longer than 5-10yds. Taylor said himself "I was injured before the game started". A real leader or a real coach needs to make a decision on when to sit a guy down to heal up, Rex didn't play much of last year, he was more of a leader than Bo or Lopez will ever be.

If our back up QB's are really that bad that our best option is playing a guy who can barely walk, man we are so fucked
