The problem with Bo is that he is hiring complete newbs to fill in as position coaches and coordinators while he himself is trying to learn how to become a HC. He should've hired guys with loads of experience that could've made his job easier on him and even acted as mentors to him. I like the guy too, but hes got to go. The games passed him up, or hes just not doing his job anymore.

I have actually considered that. He's not really a guru. Everything he was taught by his NFL mentors about defense is now archaic. If a team can match up physically and talent wise they can make his defense look real bad.

Either that or they spend so much time on X's and O's, the team forgets basic fundamentals. Thus the "you tell me", "I wish I knew", "they didn't execute" type statements.

Either way, he should have sucked it up and made sweeping changes in the off-season.

Okay JJM, who makes the decisions on the offensive starters? Bo could overrule Beck if that was Beck's call. If Tito was hurt enough to be ineffective, then Bo and Beck are fully responsible for playing him. Play calling can be overruled by the head coach also, but blaming the players for it is another beast altogether...

He's not saying it isn't Bo keeping Martinez in there. He is saying it is Beck making the calls and no Beck is not confined to passing because Taylor can't run.
We've got Ameer and Imani who were running the ball down there throat. So what did he do when we got up 21-10? Pass the ball, Martinez stay in the pocket and pass down field.

I don't think that was Bo, He had enough problems with the defense We were up by 18 at one point and controlling the ball. But for whatever reason we quit using Imani and Ameer and made Taylor stay in the pocket.

That was Beck not calling the plays that worked before.

I want him to succeed as well, but he hasn't, he needs to make crucial changes, but will he? I like Bo as a person, at the end of the day he's not getting it done. If he gets his shit together and we make the CCG without 50pt blowouts, he might earn a pass, if not and we get fucked up over and over for the 3rd year in a row then...

I too want him to succeed, and yet history keeps repeating. He doesn't seem to be able to make half time adjustments. I'd really like to here exactly what goes on during halftimes. Is there actual halftime adjustments? Does he encourage? Or is the halftime where he turns into the "old Bo" and does nothing but rant? I'm leaning towards the latter. Short of Callahan, I've never seen our teams quit on a coach like they do with Bo.

This may sound Mnt Dew Extreme but in a way the dismantling of the program that started with bc has just been continued with Bo, we keep breaking records every week, bad records, and the national perception right now I think is worse than it was back in 2007.
