And of course they only let him know AFTER he got his release that they were interested...
This is still the one thing going into the season that scares the hell out of me.
Do we have a guy that can put a routine 30y ball through the uprights in a pressure situation or not? More or less, can they nail a 40y+ game winner.
They had issues getting the damned ball into the end zone on kick offs last year even.
This just cannot be a problem this year or there's zero chance they make a playoff run.
Solve this fucking problem already.
I'm pissed about the Kaho issue.
Timeline:
-Kaho commits to UW
-Kaho had a family member pass away
-Family says he can't play at UW because he has lost 15lbs because of family issues and has to be around family
-Practicing at Alabama in prime shape
Saban said he didn't meet UW academic standards, but all this bullshit wouldn't have been made up if there wasn't something else at play. Commits to Bama the second he's granted his release?
Got the feeling reading it all that the kid really really wanted to be here, against his families wishes even. He had academic struggles and Bama took full advantage of it. Their admissions is... substantially lower. Let's just say that.Yeah but at the end of the day, if the kid didn't want to be here let his ass walk!
I would rather have a kid come here and work ass off to win it all for 3-4 years then some kid that thinks he's the next great NFL star!

The question is how did he come to be at Bama so fast? Did they have ANY impermissible contact with him before he asked out of his NLI? And then there's the kids family that lied to the media and whatever the kid said to Petersen that had even him saying something about needing to be closer to his family. If it was JUST academics there shouldn't have been a need to lie to leave.
Sure, at the end of the day the kid is gone and that's the reality. Move on with what you've got. But it is still worth looking into Bama and their efforts to get him because you can't have that shit going on. It's hard enough to compete with bluebloods on the recruiting trail. When they are still able to poach your kids 9 months after signing? It's insane.
Something just doesn't look right with him.....Looks like he lost about 20 pounds.....not the happy kid we know him as....
