You weren't the only one, I thought it was the Friday but forgot they had finally moved to Saturdays now..

Not to be the bad guy here, but he does have some valid points.

If your not a Pac 12 homer, there should be some more beat downs by the Dawgs and to be fair they have for the most part have done that.......BUT


The road loses or better yet the ability to show they can go into someones place and dominate hasn't happen yet.
I believe this is still a massive under taken, I for one feel Sark really didn't have the program restocked. Yes there was "some" quality players but not across the depth charts. Granted at the same time this current coaching staff is basically coaching their players now. So there should be their guys starting to fill the depth charts a lot more.
Which raises the question again, "are they getting players that can compete at a higher level?

It's not fair to call them frauds, but it also wasn't fair to give them high praise when all they were beating were second and third rate teams either.

Blanket statements that span more than a season are done for grabbing attention or done by idiots. One or the other, maybe both.

Last years team lost to two very good teams and weren't blown out by either.

This years team has sputtered on offense, but whose fault is it that they were ranked that high without being really tested?

A few of us pointed out all of the reasons to be worried going into that game. These friday night late games have to end IMO. It wasn't to blame, but these do favor the home teams a LOT more than Saturday games, even the late ones. Stanford after a loss scares me. I'd have rather they beat the cougs that week before. I would have felt a lot better going into it. The issues on offense weren't surprising, but the issues on defense were.

Guys with gutter takes like this nationally shouldn't be taken seriously. I sure don't.

Nice....But for the record I don't believe its "fraud" I do believe there is some "needs" for the program.
I believe there is, SC, Stanford and UW. Testing is hard to get done week in and week out, but like I said there should be no questions asked on the road, Friday nights or not. Mentality wise they should be able to go in and play anyone any where, and their not there yet.

I'm hoping they don't play flat against Utah on Saturday.

I know it must be pretty demoralizing now knowing that the conference championship game is out of your hands.

Softy asked Petersen the question as to whether or not he wanted the stadium to not announce the outcome of the Stanford/Cal game as that starts at 5pm and will end sometime during ours. Of course Petersen more or less said he doesn't care and they only worry about things they can control etc.

So the question is will the kids be paying any attention to that at all and will there be any sort of drop off when they find out Stanford won and killed their hopes? They should still have a lot to play for at the beginning of the game unless Cal is down like 40 already by then or something.

The timing on both games might have some impact on their play. I hope not, but it's possible.

The danger with Utah is they very much need this game to reach bowl eligible and will come in very motivated to steal one.

I wouldn't want it to be announced, but they will be able to find out anyway.

Many players/staff on the sidelines have their phones on them and someone can just ask someone on the sideline with a phone. I've seen snapchats from guys on the sidelines who are injured but have their phone on them. So it doesn't really matter.

If there is no drop off when they find out Stanford won, that'll really show the resilience of this team. At this point I just want to see the Huskies finish off the season the best they can and hit 11 wins.

I don't/can't see the Dawgs coming out and playing "flat" at all this weekend.
I believe Coach is bring an intense week of practice this week.
And I'm sure they are fully aware they blew a golden chance last week and they will not let it happen again.

They streamed it for free on their foxgo something whatever site. I mean it said you aren't authorized to watch it, but kept sending it anyway and the stream was fine, but yeah that was utter bullshit. Literally the only decent quarter we played and I couldn't watch it on the big TV.
