Damn every year we lose a player to an injury. Feel bad for the guy. Thank god we drafted Hyde. Time for Hyde and Latt to step up. Losing hunter hurts but I think we will be ok.

Sucks for Hunter because this is contract year for him. 2nd big injury for him.

I feel bad for Hunter because I read an article about him entering his contract year, and he was ok about playing on a low salary, and he was cool about the increased competition. He wasn't complaining about touches or salary or anything.

I hope that we sign him to an extension. He is different enough in size and game to compliment the rest of the remaining RBs on the roster...he was always quiet and just did his job when he was put in the game. He's a guy that is extremely easy to root for.

Unfortunately for Hunter he could probably now be signed to a cheap extension after his rehab, probably close to the vet minimum coming off his 2nd major injury.

Never mind. I looked it up and it is season ending. What a bummer. The story I read also said the 49ers hope to activate Lattimore soon. Hope Lattimore is going to be okay.

The one silver lining is that there's a chance he'll return next year. If he had a good year, I think there's a very high likelihood he would have gone somewhere else.

Agreed. I want him back. He'll be 28 around the start of next season; I hope he comes back on a 1-year contract. Maybe 2.

Damn, really like him. Loved how he came in and gave us some extra speed, could threaten the D with a long one more than Gore. Hope he can make it back 100%, they do amazing things with knees these days.
