I know that this was a highly debated rule coming into the season. Any bullshit calls?

I thought Everett should have gotten a penalty for targeting a defenseless receiver but not ejected. He didn't need to blow the guy up but it wasn't helmet to helmet.

IDK, but I do know that the Cal ejection against NW was an awful call....15 yard penalty, sure.

I think the NW/cal hit was the right call. it was totally unnecessary to go so high and his antics while walking off the field to the locker room certainly didnt help his case

An indiana St. player was ejected for destroying IU's punter returner before he fielded the punt. Absolutely the right call.

Oregon's Terrance Mitchell deserved to be ejected for that. Classy Oregon was still delivering sandwich tackles on Nichols St when up over 40.

I don't think the Oregon one was that bad. The only one that seemed like a correct call was the one in the IU game as the defender as used the crown of his helmet to deliver a helmet to helmet shot.

Mitchell was attempting a somersault when the qb swerved out of his lane

This rule is ridiculous.....announcers and fans crying for ejections is even more ridiculous

I'm sure there will be an huge uproar soon where a team loses a key defensive player due to a questionable "targeting" ejection call and ends up losing a game because of it.

Giving refs the ability to remove players from a game on a bang bang judgement call is the worst idea ever.....

every year they want less contact...eventually refs will be called upon to predict tackles and blow the whistle preemptively

It's ridiculous

The announcers on the Syracuse Penn State game were crying that an ejection penalty should had been called for about 5 minutes on a hit that wasnt even that bad and not even helmet contact was made......it's damn football for god sakes
