Here’s the major flaw in averaging out the monies made. Most teams if not all have one Center and a guy that’s listed at Guard who also is the backup Center. So for example Kelce on the Eagles is the loan Center on the team. All the other positions listed on that is an average of four or 5 players. So it’s literally taking a 5th WR and just playing ST and averaging that with other receivers as compared to starting Center. So it really isn’t fact @Manster7588 and you need to stop being so miserable and accusatory every day just cause you disagree with me on football.
What I was saying is if you take the highest paid player on your team at every position Center is the lowest paid starter next to TE

I did say they are important. You said that I said they weren’t important. They are, but there is a hierarchy to and in that hierarchy they are closer to the bottom. Why is it the highest paid Centers make 11 million but the highest paid QBs make 30, RBs make 13, DE make 20, LT make 15, WRs are about to cross 20 mill? Why?

And I explained to you why that fact is misleading. When a 5th WR who only plays punt coverage makes $400,000 it brings the average down while teams don’t have 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th string Centers making $400,000.

I didn’t ignore your fact that Centers aren’t drafted as much as other positions. But I didn’t talk about who got drafted more often. I said not one GM in decades and decades and decades have used top draft picks on them.

Not even remotely close. The early 1st round picks are LT and Centers RARELY get drafted even in the late 1st. Center is probably the least important position in NFL

Yes, those are my quotes and those stupid pre pubescent memes are just stupid. Kicker is also one of the least important positions on a team. Ask a Bears fan is Kicker is important or not. What you are trying to do is negate every single time I said “every position is important” but some are more important then others. If your Center sucks, snaps the ball over the QBs head and can’t block your team is going to struggle because they are important to a teams success. Is it more important then what a QB, WR1, DE, LT, RT, CB does? Absolutely not.
