What I read is Howie believe the players will strike which leads to an uncapped year coming up so that’s why they were structured that ways. He has something up his sleeves and I totally trust he knows what he is doing.

Yeah, I've been hearing those rumblings too, but which year is it (I am too lazy to Google it) and what if they don't? I suspect based on recent history of "uncapped" years the League won't allow teams to get away with any structuring of contracts that allows an advantage from a cap perspective due to any contract issue that may arise. They know what teams did last time and won't let anything like that happen.
