EA stayed back on ball and rushed throw but Perez needs to not let it get to them. No excuse walking Castro

Martin got himself into hitters count. Ridiculous. Elvis bashing is worthless. It was a bad play yes. But this inning is on Perez

All this nonsense because Perez is being a mental midget.
Wrong. Elvis botched a routine play. Perez did his job.

Yes, he could have handled this better. And yes, he is a mental midget. But none of this happens without Elvis.

Perez reverting to rookie mode. This is why Gallardo is playoff pitcher unfortunately.

Disagree sir. I did not say he was mental midget.

My point is Perez did not do his job. Elvis made an error

Wrong. Errors happen. Perez handled it poorly and walked a hitter and grooved fastballs to two more. A big league pitcher doesn't let that get out of control. This inning is on Perez.

Both Perez and Elvis can share some blame. For me I'm just concerned about Perez and Holland going forward b/c neither of them can be counted on.

Now get over that shit, get composed, and get back to dominating these guys. Offense needs to stay after keuchel.

Again, wrong.

You are both flat-out wrong. Perez does deserve blame for falling apart after the error. But Elvis botched a routine grounder. You can't sit there and blame a pitcher for not doing his job and excuse a fielder for doing the same.

They're both at fault. But it's a lot easier to field a slow ground ball than it is to strike out a hitter.

Both will have another opportunity to right the ship.

A couple seasons ago. Perez learned how to work through tough situations. I am hoping he does the same thing. Elvis let the ball play him. Should have charged it more IMO

That's right. They're both at fault. In terms of sequence of events, no that inning doesn't happen without elvis' error. But Perez has to put that behind him and pitch. He did not do his job. Period. I am not flat out wrong.
