Both Perez and Elvis can share some blame. For me I'm just concerned about Perez and Holland going forward b/c neither of them can be counted on.

You are both flat-out wrong. Perez does deserve blame for falling apart after the error. But Elvis botched a routine grounder. You can't sit there and blame a pitcher for not doing his job and excuse a fielder for doing the same.
They're both at fault. But it's a lot easier to field a slow ground ball than it is to strike out a hitter.
